WALT: To persuade the reader to agree with my opinions. 

Why we shouldn't have a school uniform. I think we shouldn't have a school uniform because it is itchy, tight and thick.The school uniform is also hard to put on and to take off.When it gets wet and soggy it smells bad. I have three main reasons to not have a school uniform:

• Firstly we shouldn't have a uniform because it's very thick and it can over heat.
• Secondly we shouldn't have a school uniform because a lot of people are more comfortable in our own clothes and jerseys.
• Thirdly because it easy rips and (mostly the shorts) it is uncomfortable when it does. 

I think the school uniform does it's job but it it's time for a 20th century uniform like halswell school's but we can do better, let's not have a school uniform. With a new school it makes sense to have a new uniform or no uniform at all, it would also be profit ( in a way ). You are probably wondering how we would make profit, well doesn't the uniform cost money? So then instead of using money for a new uniform keep the money and no uniform so it is a win, win.we get to be comfortable in our own clothes and the school gets to keep the money.If i gave everybody a servey in the school to not have a school uniform, about 9 out of 10 would say yes.there would be many reasons to not have a uniform, there are some popular reasons in our class.
